Suzie Starstress looked around her cell trying to think of times she had been in worse situations. There was that time she had narrowly avoided a firing squad on Rykiel. Or the Chi criminal organization that tried to boil her in a volcano. Even the Iraal rebels who had left her tied to a ticking time bomb were pretty bad. But this time she was in a deep pit with sheer walls being held by some Enarigan terrorists a long ways away from the Ameri Kingdom. The few strips of leather she had been given to wear did more to make her feel confined then covered. But even though she couldn’t see a way out of the confining pit yet, she knew things could be worse.

She barely noticed the tips of the Enarigan heads that peeked over the edge of the pit before one of the small grey aliens pointed an energy leash at her. A light blue field of energy reached down, gripped her upper body and slowly lifted her out of the pit.

“Okay, it’s gotten worse” Suzie said to herself. Once on the ground above the pit, the alien with the control device pushed the energy field forward forcing Suzie to stumble in the direction her upper body was being pushed.

They pushed her forward through a sandy hallway until she found herself being in a large arena. The force field was deactivated and she was able to take a quick look around. Many of the Enarigans circled a large sandy arena, observing her with their large dark eyes behind protective glass high up on the walls around her.

“Gladiator games?” Suzie grumbled, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” Fortunately, as an agent for Her Majesty’s Ameri Secret Service, she had been trained in every known form of combat. She was fairly certain she’d be able to stand up against whatever kind of creature was thrown at her. Taking a deep breath, she pulled her shoulders back and looked back at her captives with as much defiance as she could muster. Once she got out of here, she would be coming back for them.

Suddenly the door she came through opened again and a small grey hand tossed something to the soft ground next to Suzie. With a tremble, her bravado disappeared as she looked down at the object she had been given. A small energy weapon laid at her feet. Obviously the Enarigans were invoking their morbid sense of humor. Obviously they wouldn’t be considerate enough to give her a fighting chance, so obviously whatever she was being put up against was going to be immune to energy weapons. The weapon was obviously there to play with her sense of false hope.

However she didn’t hesitate to snatch it up and cling to it as the large door on the opposite side of the gladiator arena opened and her opponent appeared. It was a humanoid alien, but obviously not an Enarigan. He was huge. He towered over Suzie and most races that she knew of; he was almost as large as a Rushal. His small ears clung close to his head and his small beady eyes suggested an animal cruelty that immediately terrified her. It wore only a couple of the same leather straps that Suzie wore, making it obvious that it was male.

Once it staggered through the entryway, it blinked at the sudden light and took a moment to look around at the scene before him. Suzie tried to take advantage of his distraction and fired the energy weapon directly at his chest. The small red beam did little more than confuse the creature who looked casually down at it for a moment before tracing the shot back to Suzie.

When she finally realized that the energy weapon wasn’t going to accomplish anything, she threw the useless device at the monster. It quickly ducked out of the way of the flying weapon and Suzie marveled at the speed and agility that the enormous being displayed. She had a moment’s fear that the monster would grab the weapon and use it on her, but it couldn’t be that intelligent, could it? Instead the monster continued to close on her, either ignorant of the weapon or confident that it didn’t need it.

Suzie braced herself and as soon as the beast got close enough, kicked out in an attempt to knock the beast off of it’s feet. But her feet felt like they had connected with cement pillars. The harsh impact had no effect on the lumbering giant and only succeeded in knocking Suzie to the ground.

If she wasn’t so scared, Suzie could have appreciated the physical efficiency of the gigantic man towering above her. For all of his size and strength, he was still faster and more nimble than anyone she had ever seen. His alien powers were obviously super human. Although obviously animalistic, the bulky figure had a streamline and sensuous line that worked with it’s powerful physicality to leave Suzie momentarily stunned as it grabbed her and lifted her effortlessly into the air.

With her arms pinned to her side, it quickly pulled her in too close to allow for an effective kick. Suzie could do nothing but squirm as the powerful monster pulled her in close. She felt the warm, sweet breath as it leaned over her. She tried to turn away, but it shook and twisted her until she was forced to look it in the eye.

Something glimmered in the beasts eye before it suddenly pulled her face to his and kissed her hard and deep.

“Oh great, so this show isn’t to kill me,” she thought, “it’s to…” but she suddenly noticed that the movement of the beasts tongue, inside her mouth, was neither sensual, or brutally animalistic. It rapped against her teeth in a, not quite, rhythmic matter. After a moment of confusion, she recognized it as a common, nonverbal code used in the early days of communication.

“…agency, I’m Blast Rocketron and I’m here to rescue you.” the mammoth man told her with his tongue. “Continue to act natural and I’ll get us out of here.” He threw Suzie aside and turned to retrieve the energy gun.

Suzie had heard of Blast Rocketron and this man certainly matched his description. He was a strange alien who worked for the Central Systems Agency, an intelligence agency which protected and served the central, independent worlds. It was said he had super strength, super reflexes, and super endurance. He could see and hear into ranges that most known alien races couldn’t. Now that she knew that the animalistic behavior was just an act, Suzie could see the intelligence and determination in his eyes. For the first time she took a moment to appreciate the muscular firmness of his nearly naked form.

Suzie glanced up at the ring of Enarigan faces staring down at them. Their blank faces stared back in fascination at what the strange aliens were going to do to each other next.

Blast Rocketron picked up the gun and pointed it at Suzie. Even though she now knew it was an act, she couldn’t resist crawling backwards away from the intimidating figure. As he advanced, she quickly found herself backed against the wall. He continued to advance until he was towering over her with the gun pressed directly into her forehead.

Then, suddenly, his fist flashed forward, just missing the top of her head and blasting through the wall behind her. With a frantic burst of action, he ripped open the solid wall, picked up Suzie with one arm and dashed through the wall and down the hall.
