The Shadow Agency / The Transylvania Transportation Company http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=336 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=336#respond Thu, 21 Jul 2011 14:04:45 +0000 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=336 The second Steam Spy expansion features the Shadow Agency and the Transylvania Transportation Company and is now available! This is the second expansion and the fourth fully playable deck of the Steam Spy RPG/Card game. Monsters, Shadows, and things that go bump in the night are all the responsibility of the Shadow Agency and ready to be faced by the brave agents daring to tread into their domain.

In addition, this expansion introduces an all new card type. Creature cards are a type of Ally card who’s loyalty isn’t determined by an interaction encounter. Instead of adding a variable die, it adds a die to either roll or keep making it a great companion to the other ally type.

If you’re already a full subscriber, you can access and download the new cards along with the rest. If you’re not a full subscriber, now is the time!

Variable Die http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=334 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=334#respond Tue, 19 Jul 2011 22:27:52 +0000 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=334 Remember those terminology changes I told you about? One of them is that the Drama Die is now referred to as the Variable Die. This makes for more original and unique to this game terminology and it fits in really well with both the Steampunk and the Spy genre’s represented here. This is purely a nomenclature change and doesn’t effect game play in any way. But you might want to reprint your character cards to avoid future confusion with the rewritten rules and future cards.

Rules Update http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=317 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=317#respond Sun, 17 Jul 2011 23:55:33 +0000 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=317 There have been a few updates to the game rules, I recommend reprinting them if you already have them.

Most of the changes are minor; mostly just touching up some terminology.

But one big change is when you draw and put an ally out for an interaction encounter, you get to draw a different card in it’s place.  Therefore you’re no longer being penalized for drawing an ally.

As always, if you have any thoughts or questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Card Resize http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=295 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=295#respond Fri, 06 May 2011 01:32:56 +0000 http://entireprizeenterprises.com/steamspy/?p=295 Based on Steve’s recommendation, I’ve changed the card size to fit standard card sleeves. I’ve tried out the idea and it works great.

I’ve also added a little texture to the cards to liven up the design. None of the actual game play mechanics have been changed, so feel free to download the restructured cards, but don’t feel obligated to.

Also, I’ve changed some of the site structure to make more information available to first time visitors. Let me know if you spot anything amiss.
