MARK
I really like this strip because of how it really accents the differences in the three main characters. Zoie’s desire for action (now that she’s found her inner action hero). Zortic’s willingness to talk first. And Splink’s ability to always say the last thing you’d expect.
CUT TO
INT – DAY – Mark is standing in front of a dry erase board covered with X’s, O’s and arrows.
MARK
I’ve always loved choreographing action sequences, but they’re always a challenge to convey. Hopefully this new format will offer more of a cinematic approach and a more recognizable presentation that will be easier to read. Let me know what you think.
PAN TO
INT – DAY – Mark is crouched behind a barricade of sand bags..
MARK
I know, it took long enough. But it’s finally time to get to some of the action adventure stuff. So take a deep breath and get ready for a bit of a ride.
CUT TO
EXT – NIGHT – Mark is walking up a red carpet while spotlights ballyhoo the skies.
MARK
Did anyone catch something new over at the Blast Rocketron page? On the first day of the next few months, there will be some excerpts from the Suzie Starstress movie that everyone keeps referring to, “Suzie Starstress vs. the Star Pirates”. I hope you enjoy it.
