Well, i understand that Great-great-great-…-great-uncle Vlad is somewhere in the Bohemian side of my family…
“I was in the movie business,” huh?
A screenwriter arrives home to a scene of smoking, ravaged, utter disaster.
“What happened?!?” he screams
A neighbour says “Your agent came over. He killed your dog, burnt your house, chopped down your trees and plowed the whole place under and salted the earth; he raped your wife and sold your daughter into white slavery and he wrote nasty things about you on the sidewalk.”
The writer simpley can’t get his mind around this unbelievable news.
“Wait a minute!” he says. “Are you telling me that my agent … my agent … actually came all the way up here?”
I thought you were going for the old “What? And quit show business” punchline.
hey, I thought you might be interested in the 3d version of Frank. I remembered how you loved him when I first drew him, since he is loosely based off of our favorite goofball, Splink he’s on my deviant art I posted him a while ago but never thought to show him to you. Sorry about that.
Very nice!
Or infamous relatives.
For some reason when you say that I hear it with the same reading as the MC in Young Frankenstein
Speaking of pirates, there’s an unconfirmed rumor that Henry Morgan, or maybe his brother, was one of my ancestors.
That’s cool! I am a bit of a fan of pirate lore.
Between you and Fairportfan’s ancestors, there’s some serious history going on around here.
One of my GGGG Uncles faught pirates during the Revolutionary War.
I have lots of famous ancestors or ancestors associated with famous folk (like the 3 ancestors that were with George Washington in the Revolutionary war. 1 was his life guard/bodyguard, 1 was his general clothier (mended his clothes and baught new clothes for him and his officers), and 1 was his secretary at Valley Forge)
Wow, this is incredibly cool. The closest claim to fame I have is the guy who designed the Cambell’s Soup label (not Andy Warhol, the original designer).
One of my ancestors was John Alden of Mayflower fame, immortalized by Longfellow.
A few years back, I met someone who was a descendant of Miles Standish.
… aaaawwwwwkwaaaard …
