And that end’s the first story arc of the Zortic relaunch. Hopefully it holds up to all of the other reboots that are out there.

Okay, this is one of the one’s I’ve been waiting for. Hopefully it’s pretty obvious that it ties back to the first strip. And we get to see the beginnings of some chemistry appear.
The bad news is that Zortic is back to once a week for a while. But I do have something exciting to tell you about very soon.

How much longer until the movie comes out?
By the way, does everyone remember Podwarp 1999? My pal Ben Paddon has a Jump Leads book out. I’m really excited to get on, you should definitely check it out too. With great art and great writing you just can’t go wrong. But be sure you buy it from Ben to get some special “extras”.

I have to confess that every time I heard about William Shatner complaining about not being in the new Star Trek movie, I couldn’t help imagining throwing his words back at him “It’s just a TV show. Get a life!”
However, I did get to see Leonard Nimoy this weekend at FX!

Obviously this is a Gilligan’s Island reference, but it’s also a slight nod to Steve Troop. Steve’s strip Mayberry Melonpool was similar to Zortic, but it always seemed to have a little bit more of a Gilligan’s Island feel.

I know, drawing Zoie in a parka isn’t the way to attract new readers. But it is kind of fun to do something different.

You were expecting Zoie to say “April Fools” weren’t you? Needless to say, their relationship still has a ways to go.
