This is a little bit of a variation of that gag from Animal House, but with Star Trek props.

It’s important to note that when this crossover ran, the Melonpool archives had been taken off of the internet. So Ralphie’s warning did have an ominous reality behind it.
I have to confess that it was almost as much fun for me to draw Zortic in a Star Trek uniform as it was for him to wear one.
This was a tricky sequence to make work with only a few panels. I’m not sure if it worked exactly as I wanted it to, but it seems to get the point across.

This crossover was extra fun because I really got to immerse Zortic and the gang into the Melonpool universe. How often does that get to happen.
With Zortic and Melonpool together, you know there have to be some Star Trek references. In this case it’s from Star Trek IV; The Voyage Home
It’s actually kind of surprising how well that sentence works.
