PAN TO EXT –day, Mark is sitting on a swing over in the play ground. MARK It’s going to be one of those bad guys plotting stretches, so beware of some important exposition coming.
CUT TO EXT –night, a voice comes from behind a bush. MARK You know, a great many bits of intrigue are planned out on a park bench.
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark is sitting alone in a small, dirty movie theater. MARK I do kind of wonder if both of these two are thinking of the same kind of movie.
PAN TO EXT – Day, Mark is sitting alone on another bench with a box of chocolate and a bunch of wilted flowers. MARK Some people just don’t handle rejection very well.
CUT TO INT – Day, Mark is sitting in a doctor’s waiting room with cobwebs growing around him. MARK I promise, this is the last of plotting, we’ll be getting back the main characters next week.
PAN TO INT – Day, Mark is laying passed out in the corner wearing a party hat with a noise maker hanging out of his mouth.
CUT TO INT – Day, a comic book store where Mark is browsing the collectibles aisle. MARK It’s nice to see that Zortic is spending his money on something other than action figures.
CUT TO EXT – Day, Mark is standing next to an empty desert road wearing a pair of rocket powered roller skates. MARK I always like these strips with minimal dialogue. It’s very Chuck Jones-ish.
CUT TO EXT – Day, Mark is sitting in a time machine DeLorean. MARK You may recognize the Calvary from Classic Zortic. However it has been upgraded a little.
PAN TO INT – Day, Mark is dressed as a HMS Calvary guard. MARK In the original version of Zortic, Captain Cutter turned out to be a bit too much like Zap Brannigan from Futurama (although Cutter did come first). […]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
