CUT TO EXT – DAY – Mark is sitting in a cardboard box covered with newspapers. MARK Yup. That’s what happened. No too hard to figure out, was it. The gang now officially has their first true nemesis.
PAN TO EXT –day, Mark is sitting on a swing over in the play ground. MARK It’s going to be one of those bad guys plotting stretches, so beware of some important exposition coming.
CUT TO EXT –night, a voice comes from behind a bush. MARK You know, a great many bits of intrigue are planned out on a park bench.
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark is sitting alone in a small, dirty movie theater. MARK I do kind of wonder if both of these two are thinking of the same kind of movie.
PAN TO EXT – Day, Mark is sitting alone on another bench with a box of chocolate and a bunch of wilted flowers. MARK Some people just don’t handle rejection very well.
CUT TO INT – Day, Mark is sitting in a doctor’s waiting room with cobwebs growing around him. MARK I promise, this is the last of plotting, we’ll be getting back the main characters next week.
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark is standing in a brightly colored warehouse that skews at an awkward angle. MARK There’s nothing like a gathering of villains to build up to a truly epic confrontation.
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark is sitting at a folding table in a basement as sounds of adult celebration are going on upstairs. MARK I’m sure we’ve all had some of those awkward family reunions, haven’t we?
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark hiding behind the sofa as The Jersey Shore plays on TV. MARK Remember, these are the same kind of executives that basically invented reality television.
