He’s still new at the marriage idea. Besides, like the “dog” part, sometimes the movie quote is more important than the facts to someone like Zortic.
The old Ghostbusters quote had a veil of relevancy to play on a sexist remark; the veil’s not so great here.
Maybe if Ghar had a couple of dog heads like a mutated Ceberus, but even so the joke may not have stood the test or time.
