It’s a little subtle, but the idea is that Zoie is a grown up newt from Aliens. Presumably she was rescued by Ripley at some point who probably inspired her to be who she is today.

The lack of background was supposed to create a sense of dark mystery. It wasn’t because I was lazy, I swear!

It was pretty obvious that Deep Space 9 was supposed to have a frontier town kind of feel (kind of like Gunsmoke), so why not take it to it’s extreme… even with tumbleweeds.

I can’t say this is my favorite story title, but it is one of my favorite stories. I’m actually surprised more people don’t combine parodies of Hamlet and the Ghostbusters.
And thus ends the musical adventure of the Spacees. Someday they’ll definitely have to get the band back together.
Okay, time to get a little philosophical… and defend my tendency to look.
