For those of you not familiar with the John Carter novels, he had the ability to jump great distances in the Martian gravity. So jumping/bouncing, tomato/tomato.
The Road Runner cartoons were always my favorites. Nothing made me happier than to place Splink into a Wile E Coyote parody.
I always think there’s something suspicious going on when people have a fancy room like this that’s not being used.

The biggest problem with establishing communication with aliens is coordinating similar goals and priorities.
I know, Zoie doesn’t take to her mother’s coloring quite enough to fit in with the red guys, but I’m sure they see some subtly that the rest of us are oblivious to.
