I had always thought that if the Emperor had just kept his mouth shut, Luke probably would have turned to the dark side. Of course the Emperor wasn’t asking Luke to wear any of these outfits.

I’m not sure if I ever revealed who Red’s “Emperor” was in the original series. I’m going to have to keep reading to find out myself.
It’s a scientific fact that every planet has a North Pole.
Kind a sorta similar to Return of the Jedi, except Zortic and Splink are going to raise a shield while Zoie goes to face her parent.
A more wretched example of scum and villainy can’t be found than people on cell phones.
Yeah, there’s probably a whole slew of “your mother” jokes that wouldn’t be appropriate for Zoie right now.
Like I said, I didn’t want to do the old “I am your father” parody, but with Red firmly established as a villain, “I am your mother” seems like a perfectly good variation.
It is kind of fun having Red Bimbo as a reoccurring villain. I kind of missed that before relaunching the strip.
