In hind sight, I’m not sure the Zoie constellation really came out the way I wanted it to. But I think this is the first use of the phrase “shut up, Splink”.

The glue trick was a casual nod to Elwood’s trick in the Blues Brothers where he glued the Good Ol’ Boys gas pedal on the Winnebago.
I really have to bring back these pig guards.
Chubby’s “alien” language eventually disappeared for the sake of convenience, but sometimes I do miss it.
Chubby’s ship was just supposed to look kind of lumpy, but in hind sight, it is slightly obscene. Fortunately that also works for a Chubby the Lump ship.
You have to admit, in that outfit Zoie could even make Gollum forget about the ring.
See! Who needs anorexia when you could just have a ring of power make you a wraith.

I have to confess to being a Monkees fan. Obviously they were essentially a parody of the Beatles, but it was a great example of parody that took on a life of it’s own.
Something I really took pride in originally was experimenting with panel presentations and layout. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. This one I was pretty happy with.
