Here’s a little attempt at social commentary. I touched on that a bit more than I expected with this strip, but I found you can’t really do much writing without doing some.
And here begins the first actual adventure.
Here’s another stand alone gag. The dullness of slower than light speed travel was going to be a running gag, but focusing on boringness seemed pretty boring, so I’m glad that didn’t last long.

Finding dramatic lift offs has been a continuing challenge for this strip. Fortunately, since this was the first one nothing had been done before, so it was relatively easy.
I actually have to give credit for this gag to an old college friend, Linda Miles. Thanks Linda!
You know, we never did find out what happened to that goat.
