The “Would you believe…” line is another Get Smart reference. Obviously that’s not Zortic’s shoe, so it may very well have a telephone in it.
Yeah, Zortic isn’t always the quickest. But I’m sure all you you picked up on it right away, didn’t you?
This was a standard Get Smart gag. Usually Sigfried’s sidekick would do something cute or dorky and Sigfried would have to point out that “We are Chaos, we don’t…. (whatever the sidekick said or did)… here!”
