I’m betting you can see where this is going.
There were a few Marx Brothers movies where they appeared on a ship, but the one they were the most famous for was A Night at the Opera.
I know that only the expensive rooms have portholes, but I don’t want anyone to forget that they’re on a ship.
I really would have loved to see the Marx Brothers guest star on an episode of The Love Boat. Unfortunately this is the closest I’ll ever get.
Of course the Doctor on Love Boat was never this antagonistic, but every story needs someone to shake things up.
I’m sure this sounded much better inside of his head.
Of course I was a fan of Bernie Kopell, who played the Love Boat doctor originally from playing Sigfried in Get Smart.
It was kind of fun doing a Love Boat parody, I was a devoted follower when it was on.
Before the Melonpool crossover became what it was, I tried to put together a larger Scifi comic crossover using a space “Love Boat” type of structure that would allow easier coordination by keeping the story lines separate, but intertwined. This[…]↓ Read the rest of this entry…
