This comic begins the most epic adventure of Zortic’s run. Although it will be broken up into chapters, the story took an entire year to come to completion. Fortunately you won’t have to wait that long.
This marks the end of the second Zortic book. The next “book” never was printed, but it contains some really big Zortic stories. So be sure to stick around!
I know, it’s kind of a cop out wrapping up the “slasher” incident so easily, but I really wanted to get to the next story. Believe me, it will be worth it.
He may be crazy, but at least he’s happy.
Be careful what you look for, Zortic! The next story line is going to be a doozy.
Remember when I used that Monkees gag just before Zortic’s first chase sequence?
I still kind of like using the bones as panel breaks while still lining it up so Zoie’s head makes up a skull and crossbones. Sometimes I amuse myself.
It’s really pretty easy for me to see someone with Zoie’s sense of action and excitement going into the piracy business, especially if she found out that it was the family business.
Bet you didn’t see a “The Graduate” parody coming, did you? Can you hear the Simon and Garfunkel?
