I love the work of Frank Frazetta. His pulp action paintings really did a lot to help define the look of books like John Carter of Mars.
I don’t know about you, but I think that climbing a rose vine covered trellis with no clothes on shows amazing heroism.
I know the Beatles song kind of throws off the silent feel of the Road Runner parody, but it was inserted as a clue to a soon to come crossover. Stay tuned.

For those of you not familiar with the John Carter novels, he had the ability to jump great distances in the Martian gravity. So jumping/bouncing, tomato/tomato.
The Road Runner cartoons were always my favorites. Nothing made me happier than to place Splink into a Wile E Coyote parody.
