This was my shot at doing a single panel gag with Zortic. It could work, but I finally realized that Zortic works better with longer story arcs.
This was essentially the equivalent of the final tableau of most series that always end with everyone laughing. Remember Police Squad? (RIP Leslie Nielsen)

A little bit more Seahawks, but with a bit of a James Bond twist.
I never really did figure out how or why Red got up into that drapery. But it made for a nice dramatic surprise.
Here’s where I start bringing in some of the obscure references. The old Errol Flynn movie Seahawks is one of my favorites and was the inspiration for this fight.
Yup, those are jedi robes…. kind of.
It’s a Raiders of the Lost Ark reference with some strong Freudian undertones.
I really wanted to explore alternate layouts that would read right without having to rely on directional arrows and tricks like that. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.
