This was my opening to the first really great webcomic crossover, the Great Framed Escape. I’m not sure how much of it is still out there, but it’s certainly worth checking out as a piece of webcomic history.

Trees have nipples?
That was actually a reference to the comic Framed. Those characters had no nipples, so it was a hint to where he was going.
Framed, the Great Escape… my next major project will be trying to gather and save all the strips from that one for posterity 😛
… and you forgot to mention the silhuette of Boxjam on one of the other trees! 😉
You didn’t have The Great Framed Escape already? That should keep you busy for a while. Hopefully most of the links are still active.

I was thinking I would try to see if I could Archive and save The Great Escape as was done with the Crossover Wars… not that I lag any amount of huge impossible projects mind you 😉
