The Saucer Seekers

Most other countries have opened up their UFO files, but the US hasn’t. Today’s strip represents my theory on why. Our “innocent until proven guilty” policy would be stained if bad guys where able to say “the aliens made me do it”. The state would be required to prove that the aliens didn’t do it (which would probably be impossible), but if it’s accepted that unexplainable phenomenon doesn’t exist then it’s accepted that that argument won’t stand up.
