Years ago in the early 80’s, before they did regular tours, we got a behind the scenes tour at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. I got to fly one of the simulators (It wasn’t one that moved, was just a mock-up of the cockpit). I did a fairly good job landing, if you want to call landing upside down as a 3 point landing. 🙂
That’s awesome! If I remember correctly there must be 3 points on the top of the shuttle to land on too!
