UFO Case 784 – Known Unknown
I’ve often wondered how there can be a dividing line between what’s investigated and what’s not. What is the difference between a UFO and an unidentified object that flies.

I imagine this is a case where the connotations a word/term has accrued play an effect. One says ‘UFO’ and they naturally think of the flying saucer crowd, and an airport wouldn’t care for that publicity. Just say ‘unidentified object’…well, it could be anything, then.
Of course, this isn’t taking into account the possibility of a deliberate cover-up. And in some ways, if UFOs are truly visiting, I can sort of understand a cover-up then. Take a public place like an airport…if it was reported they were being buzzed and there was nothing to be done with it, it is possible their business would take a massive hit (except for those who come to see a ‘legit’ UFO)
That’s the problem with any kind of denial, it’s always going to look like a cover up whether it’s intentional or not.
