PAN TO INT –Night, standing on the other side of Zoie, Mark raises his finger to make a point, then thinks better of it and slowly lowers his hands back to his pockets.

CUT TO INT –Day, Mark is leaning against the rail of an observation bay, gazing off into space. MARK It’s really helpful that pirates very seldom spend time looking out the windows.
CUT TO INT –Day, Mark is standing in front of a janitor’s closet wearing coveralls. MARK It’s nice to see that even during a crisis Splink is conscious of keeping everything ship shape.
CUT TO INT –Day, a doctor’s office where Mark is standing in a lab coat in front of an eye exam chart. MARK Obviously they can’t see a thing in those helmets.
CUT TO INT –night, Mark is standing on a classical stage dressed as a large operatic viking woman. MARK Who says those have to be famous last words.
PAN TO EXT –day, Mark is sitting on a swing over in the play ground. MARK It’s going to be one of those bad guys plotting stretches, so beware of some important exposition coming.
CUT TO EXT –night, a voice comes from behind a bush. MARK You know, a great many bits of intrigue are planned out on a park bench.
CUT TO INT – Night, Mark is sitting alone in a small, dirty movie theater. MARK I do kind of wonder if both of these two are thinking of the same kind of movie.
PAN TO EXT – Day, Mark is sitting alone on another bench with a box of chocolate and a bunch of wilted flowers. MARK Some people just don’t handle rejection very well.
CUT TO INT – Day, Mark is sitting in a doctor’s waiting room with cobwebs growing around him. MARK I promise, this is the last of plotting, we’ll be getting back the main characters next week.
